Navy Wives Clubs of America National Scholarships
The Navy Wives Clubs of America is a national organization of spouses of Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel. The organization’s main aims are to form a community and to simply offer fellowship and support to each other. Each year the Navy Wives Clubs of America (NWCA) generously offers thirty scholarship opportunities for the children of Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel.
To be eligible, students must demonstrate financial need, have above a 2.5 GPA, and graduate from an accredited high school. The scholarship committee will allot the scholarships based on a few factors:
Four initial awards will be given for freshmen students with continuation not to exceed three more years. Undergraduate students may apply for four upperclassmen awards and any vacancies that occur in the renewal grants. Special scholarships are given to two medical students, one student majoring in special education and four awards to children of NWCA members
The scholarship application is available online and asks for both a transcript and an essay.
