Today’s scholarship is from NASA. Well, to be more specific, the scholarship is from NASA’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate. This scholarship program is for students who are studying at either the undergraduate or graduate level in the 2013-2014 academic year. High school seniors who will be undergrads during the 2013-2014 academic year are also welcome to apply.
In this upcoming year, there are 25 scholarships expected to be awarded (20 to undergraduate students and 5 to graduate students). Specifically, these scholarships are for students who are interested in studying aeronautical engineering (or a related field). This scholarship is quite generous–undergrads (with at least 2 remaining years of studying) will receive up to $15,000 per year in scholarships! Additionally, they will have the opportunity to do an internship at a NASA research center that comes with a $10,000 stipend!
Grad students will receive a $35,000 stipend per year and $11,000 for educational expenses for up to 3 years! Grad students will also have the paid internship opportunity.
