Founded in 1945, the Christophers are a nonprofit organization that use media to spread the idea that while you are one unique individual, you can make all the difference in our world. The Christophers’ motto is: “It’s better to light one candle than to curse the darkness” For creative students, the Christophers’ Poster Contest is the perfect opportunity to create, share your message, and win a scholarship. Break out the art supplies and start creating!
If you enjoy creating artwork and believe that a single person can make all the difference in the lives of others, this poster contest is perfect for you! Applicants need not have a religious affiliation, but must have a passion to make the world a better place. Who is eligible to apply for the Christophers’ Poster Contest?
- High school students in grades 9 through 12
- All applicants must be living in the United States
The theme of this poster contest is “One Person Can Make a Difference.”

What are the monetary prizes for the winners of the Christophers’ Poster Contest?
- First Prize – $1000
- Second Prize – $500
- Third Prize – $250
- Up to five Honorable Mentions of $100 each
When is the deadline for sending in posters?
Posters for the Christophers’ Poster Contest must be postmarked by February 17, 2022. All winners will be announced on April 23, 2021, just in time for joyous Spring!
