Association for Women Geoscientists Minority Scholarship
The Association for Women Geoscientists awards the Association for Women Geoscientists Minority Scholarship to underrepresented minority (African American, Hispanic, or Native American) women who are interested in/are currently working on an undergrad degree in the geosciences (which includes geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth science education).
Whether you are a full time student pursuing your undergrad degree, or are a high school senior, feel free to apply; the Association awards one or more awards totaling $6000!
Also, the scholarship will match the student with a mentor in the same field who will offer guidance and support.
