Today’s scholarship is for those of you with American Idol aspirations. The Anthem Singing Scholarship is sponsored by FMC Agriculture Products (yes, a tad strange) who is awarded $25,000 in college scholarships to students!
This scholarship is open to all students who are between the ages of 13 and 21, so many high school and college students are eligible to apply! As you can imagine from the name of this scholarship, students are asked to sing a rendition of the National Anthem. This rendition should be submitted as a video.
The only other eligibility requirement is that students must be members of a national agriculture-related student organization including (but not limited to) FFA, 4-H, and student NAMA.
After videos are submitted, they will be posted online for voting. The four finalists will be interviewed/recorded for national TV. Finally, the grand prize winner will be determined by popular vote.
Interested? Check out the scholarship website for the online application!
The deadline for this scholarship is June 20, 2014!
Best of luck to all students!
