The EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program helps ease employment barriers in the HVACR industry by shouldering part of the cost of education and training for selected individuals. The Scholarship Program supports academic and trade education at a wide variety of approved community colleges, private career schools, and trade schools that offer courses relevant to careers in the HVACR industry.
Who is eligible to apply for the 2019 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program?
Eligibility Requirements:
• Students planning to enroll or currently enrolled in an HVAC technical program at an accredited institution for the entire 2019-2020 academic year
• US Citizens, US Nationals, and/or US Permanent Residents based on the guidelines utilized by the US Department of Education Federal Financial Aid eligibility
• Minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
• Students pursuing an Associate’s Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in an HVAC technical program
How much is the 2019 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program worth?
Twenty scholarships worth $2500 each will be awarded!
When is the 2019 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program application due?
The application deadline if April 30, 2019.
