2012-2013 American Indian Science and Engineering Society Scholarships
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) aims to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science, and other related technology disciplines. In the pursuit of this goal, they are offering the 2012-2013 AISES Scholarships. They are offering three separate scholarships: the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship (deadline has unfortunately passed), the AISES Intel Scholarship (due June 15, 2012), and the A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship (due June 15, 2012).
The AISES Intel Scholarship is for American Indian students with at leasts a 3.0 GPA who are majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. This will award $5,000 for undergraduates and $10,000 graduate students. The A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship is for American Indian students with at least a 3.0 who are majoring in math, medicine, physical science, technology, science, engineering, or natural resources. This scholarship will award $1,000 for undergraduates per academic year and $2,000 for graduate students per academic year.
