The Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship is currently being offered by the Jeannette Rankin Foundation to women of age 35 or older. Since 1976, Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund has awarded more than three million in scholarships to more than 1000 women.
Who is eligible to apply for the Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship?
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must fit the following criteria:
- A woman, age 35 or older.
- A U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
- Enrolled in, or accepted to, a regionally or ACICS accredited school.
- Pursuing a technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree, or a first bachelor’s degree.
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation decides “low-income” based off of income in relation to household size- check out the chart on the scholarship’s website to see if you fit.
The Foundation will look your goals, plan for reaching these goals, challenges you may have faced, and your financial situation in deciding scholarship recipients.
When is the Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship application due?
The online application must be filled out and postmarked by March 1, 2019.
