    From UATX

The University of Austin prepares thoughtful and ethical builders, leaders, and innovators through open inquiry and civil discourse.

UATX values both the wisdom of the past and the transformative power of new ideas. We foster an environment of intellectual freedom and cultivate a community based on the lively clash of ideas.

On colleges across America, genuine conversations have become difficult. At UATX, students can raise questions and challenge orthodoxy on a campus where diverse perspectives are united by the fearless pursuit of truth.

Our commitment to the pursuit of truth arises from our confidence that the nature of reality can be discerned, albeit incompletely, and from our belief that the quest to know, though unending, is an ennobling, liberating, and productive endeavor.

At UATX, we build with purpose. We know the builder is greater than the critic and that criticism, while important, should never take center stage. Our students learn to think so that they might build. They have the courage to dare and the agency to realize their vision.

University of Austin is an academic startup where students get to re-imagine education free from the shackles of prestige and bureaucracy. Students don’t just graduate with a piece of paper. They learn how to found anew for a world in need.

Yes, UATX accepts the Classical Learning Test (CLT) from applicants. The CLT is an emerging alternative to the SAT and ACT that focuses on classic and historical texts. For more information on the CLT, check out Scholarships360’s full guide.
