The EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program helps ease employment barriers in the HVACR industry by shouldering part of the cost of education and training for selected individuals. The Scholarship Program supports academic and trade education at a wide variety of approved community colleges, private career schools, and trade schools that offer courses relevant to careers in the HVACR industry.
Who is eligible to apply for the 2018 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program?
Applicants must be passionately committed to a career in HVACR and meet all of the following criteria:
• Be a high school senior, high school graduate or GED equivalent enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited two-year college, vocational or technical school or other approved technical institute in the United States for the 2018-2019 academic year.
• Enroll in an HVAC technology-related course of study.*
• Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
*Applicants are required to upload documentation that the school offers the eligible course of study.
How much is the 2018 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program worth?
Twenty scholarships worth $2500 each will be awarded!
When is the 2018 EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program application?
The application deadline if April 1, 2018.
